Job Description:
As Business Manager you will co-ordinate and supervise the administrative/accounting requirements of the Kinark Outdoor Centre (Minden), which would include supervision of the program administrative staff, and grant proposals.
The primary responsibilities of this position include grant writing and proposal applications, business case analysis, budget preparation; review and analyze financial reports and forecast future expenditures; complete unit cost and ministry reports as required ; co-ordinate and assemble the financial and statistical service plan; monitor agency assets; design, monitor, re-evaluate and implement administrative systems and procedures, as well as participate in program planning as part of the management team.
You must be advanced in Word, and Excel, and web based research. You must have demonstrated skills in the areas of proposal writing, budget forecasting, statistical and budget analysis and management. Marketing/public relations, outdoor education and facilities experience would be an asset. You should have a minimum of two years experience in the supervision of staff. A related Community College Diploma and a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience are required.
